Seller: Benjamin Klipsch - After years in the business, Mr. Klipsch is liquidating Kirkham Hardwoods' assets, offering a full range of high-quality equipment. This is an absolute auction with no reserves, so the highest bidder will secure valuable industrial machinery!

Terms: A 10% onsite and 13%-15% online buyer’s premium applies to all purchases. Payment is due upon invoice receipt, and all items must be paid for before removal. All items are sold WHERE IS, AS IS, without warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Buyers are encouraged to inspect all merchandise prior to bidding.

Loadout and Rigging Terms:

Installed Items ...

  • All installed equipment must be removed by the designated rigger, Paul Avery (270-543-1919).
  • A rigging fee will be assigned to each installed item. A detailed rigging quote is available upon request before the auction by emailing daves@brightstarauctions.com or in the rigging information lot at the beginning of the online catalog.
  • The buyer is responsible for paying the rigger. The rigger will load your items onto your trailer, but you (the buyer) are responsible for arranging and paying for trucking.
  • Please ensure your items are removed while the rigger is onsite. Once the rigger leaves, you (the buyer) will be responsible for loading your items and must bring your own loader.
  • All items must be removed within 90 days.

Uninstalled Small Items ...

  • Free loading is available on the day of the auction until 5 PM and on December 10th, 11th, and 12th from 8 AM to 4 PM.
  • All small items must be removed by December 14th at 4 PM, unless you have purchased installed items and plan to ship them together. If so, you must schedule this with the rigger, Paul Avery (270-543-1919), and a loading fee may apply.

Rolling Stock ...

  • Rolling stock may be picked up Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM, if no loading assistance is required.
  • If loading assistance is required, please schedule an appointment with Paul Avery (270-543-1919), and a loading fee may apply.
  • All rolling stock must be removed by December 20th.

Disclosure to Buyers ...

  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to communicate any special rigging requests to the rigger.
  • Please review the detailed rigging quote provided.
  • If an item does not have a loadout or rigging fee listed in the detailed quote, it qualifies for free loading during the “Free Loadout” period.
  • After the “Free Loadout” period, a $25 per lot loadout fee will apply. This includes items arranged with the rigger to be shipped alongside installed items. This fee is due and payable to the rigger.

Payment terms: 10% Onsite and 13% Online Buyer's Premium in effect for all purchases. Cash, check, wire transfer. Cash Payments totaling $10,000 or more will not be accepted. Credit cards are only accepted on invoices with a total of less than $2500. All payments are due immediately upon receipt of your invoice. Onsite buyers, payment is due the day of the auction. Onsite payments will only be accepted at the auction location on auction day up to one hour post auction. After that, payment must be made to the corporate office by calling 574-825-0704. If onsite bidders wish to send a wire and still be assessed only the onsite buyer’s premium, they must present a bank letter of credit (with limit stated equal to or higher than the amount owed by bidder) and wire must be sent no later than one business day after the auction.
